Conscious Discipline
“Education does not change the world; it changes the people who will change the world.”
As parents, we are often used to addressing our children’s “misbehavior” by focusing on the behavior itself—whining, tantrums, yelling—rather than the underlying need. This is rarely a parent’s fault; it is often the only model they were taught. Although this approach has been passed down through generations, it does not mean it is the best one. It can damage a child’s dignity and self-esteem and contribute to fear and resentment in adulthood.
One simple way to understand what our children need is to ask what we need ourselves: love, acceptance, someone who listens without judgment, encouragement, reassurance that mistakes are normal and that another opportunity exists, companionship, and comfort when we need it.
In our workshops, we raise awareness among parents and educators and help children develop social-emotional and self-discipline skills.
To positively transform lives by giving adults practical skills that allow conscious discipline to support children’s development—providing valuable tools not only for children, but also for the adults involved in their education.
Our
Mission
Parent
Education
Conscious Discipline offers different methods and techniques whose primary goal is to educate children with firmness and discipline while keeping their dignity and self-esteem intact.
Workshop 1
Understanding our behavior and learning to self-regulate.
We explore the basic structures behind our own behavior and our children’s behavior, identify one of
the most common parenting mistakes, and learn practical techniques and strategies to address it.
Workshop 2
The importance of routines in creating safety.
Participants learn the basic Conscious Discipline structures used at school and how these routines
can be applied at home.
