F.A.T. Workshop
Frustration, Anxiety, and Tension
An experience that transforms understanding into empathy—and empathy into action.
More than a workshop, F.A.T.® is an invitation to see the world from a child’s perspective.
How difficult can it be?
F.A.T.® is an experiential program designed to help parents, educators, and professionals deeply understand what many children and young people with learning difficulties and other neurodivergent conditions experience every day.
Through carefully designed simulations and activities, participants temporarily experience the frustration, anxiety, and tension that can accompany learning when traditional tools do not meet the learner’s needs.
When we understand a child’s experience, the way we teach, support, and connect with them changes.
Participants will discover
How learning difficulties affect self-esteem and behavior.
The relationship between learning, emotions, and self-regulation.
Strategies that support inclusion, connection, and well-being.
Tools for responding with greater empathy and effectiveness.
The importance of recognizing and developing each person’s strengths.
